About the Author

Dr. Barbara Bateman is one of the nation's best-known experts in special education law. She has written more than 90 books, monographs, book chapters and articles on special ed legal issues. A new edition of her well-known book, "Better IEPs: How to Develop Legally Correct and Educationally Useful Programs," was recently published.
