About the Author

Patricia O. Quinn, M.D., is a developmental pediatrician in Washington, D.C., specializing in child development and psychopharmacology. A pioneer, Dr. Quinn has worked for 30 years in the areas of ADHD, hyperactivity, and learning disabilities. She gives workshops nationwide and has published extensively in these fields.

Judith M. Stern, M.A., is an educational consultant in private practice in Rockville, Maryland, specializing in work with children who have leaning disabilities and ADHD, as well as their parents and teachers. She is also the author of several books for young people with attention disorders and learning disabilities.
