About the Author

Sam Goldstein, Ph.D. is on the faculty of the University of Utah and has co-authored other books in the Seven Steps Series: Seven Steps to Homework Success and Seven Steps to Help Your Child Worry Less.

Kristy Hagar, Ph.D. is a pediatric neuropsychologist at Children's Medical Center of Dallas and an Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Her training includes the areas of health psychology/behavioral medicine, school psychology, and developmental neuropsychology.

Robert Brooks, Ph.D. is on the faculty of Harvard Medical School and has authored or co-authored eight books and numerous articles and book chapters with a focus on the themes of resilience, self-esteem, motivation, school climate, learning disorders, and family relationships.
