About the Author

Michael Gordon, Ph.D. is a professor of psychiatry and Director of the ADHD Program at SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Gordon is author of How to Operate an ADHD Clinic or Subspecialty Practice as well as numerous other books and articles about externalizing disorders. He is also developer of a test of attention and self-control that is used internationally.

Shelby Keiser, MS, is manager of the Office of Test Accommodations at the National Board of Medical Examiners. She is a member of the AHEAD Ad Hoc Committee on Documentation of ADHD. A former director of the Disabled Student Service Office at Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA, Ms. Keiser has served as a consultant in the diagnosis and remediation of reading and learning disabilities.
