About the Author

Dr. Conners, author of the most widely used ADHD diagnostic instruments — the Conners Rating Scales and the Conners Continuous Performance Test , has over 40 years’ experience researching and publishing on topics related to ADHD. He has authored five books and over 200 scientific articles and served as first chairperson of the National Institute of Mental Health’s (NIMH) Multimodal Treatment Study (MTA), the largest treatment study of ADHD ever funded by NIMH.

Dr. Conners, a clinical psychologist, is currently Professor Emeritus of Medical Psychology at Duke University Medical School, where he founded the Duke Attention Deficit Program.
